Challenge
The goal was to optimize building operations using predictive control via VBoptimize and ecoBuilding. But to make this work, the technical installation had to be in good shape first.
Solution
During the implementation of VBoptimize, several structural issues within the existing installation came to light. These were promptly resolved, allowing the boiler system to operate much more efficiently. Air and water flows throughout the building are now better balanced, leading to a more comfortable indoor climate and reduced energy consumption.
Collaboration
VB Optimum carried out this project in close collaboration with De Jong Installatietechniek. Erwin van Gorkom, Facility Manager at De Goudse, was closely involved and is enthusiastic about the results achieved.
