24/7 Optimisation

Sustainability is an important theme for the university of Amsterdam. To investigate the possibilities for energy savings, we entered into a partnership with VBoptimum.

A Digital Twin will be made of the building and climate installation. The purpose of the Digital Twin is to optimize the installations and provide sustainable investment opportunities such as the step to a heat pump. In addition, the algorithms will control the installation 24/7 based on predictions to reduce the energy consumption for the deployment of heat and cold and save CO2.

The prescan has now been completed and the plan of action is currently being implemented.
